Abstract:Objective To solve the problem of difficult examinations for outpatients, the outpatient examination procedures are
optimized and improved to facilitate patients and improve their medical experience. Methods This article deeply analyzed the current
status of the outpatient examination process and found the pain point. Also, this medical examination learned from the concepts and
the methods of processing optimization, creating business reorganization, making appointment between clinics, and comparing the
practices within the industry. This paper proposed a “one-stop” inspection intelligent appointment platform suitable for its actual
situation and constructed a new set of outpatient inspection procedures. Results The application of this platform allowed patients
to queue at least 2 times less, the average waiting time for examinations was shortened to 13 minutes, and the examination missed
appointment rate was reduced to 4.8%, the work efficiency of the inspection department was significantly improved, which can
solve prominent problems in all aspects of the whole process. Conclusion The construction of “one-stop” inspection intelligent
appointment platform is of great significance in creating a good medical environment and improving the quality of hospital services
and patient satisfaction. As a result, it truly realizes “less line up for medical treatment” and “less running for examination”.
