Abstract:Objective To solve the problems in the current implant tracing system, including incomplete storage information, sharing
and information privacy. Methods Using blockchain technology and cryptography principles to design a blockchain-based implant
tracing system. Results The system was equipped with implant manufacturers, distributors, hospitals and patient client programs,
which can integrate implant production, circulation and use information into the blockchain, and finally the authenticated user
account can be implanted. The unique identifier of the object initiated a query request to implement implant tracing. Conclusion The
technical characteristics of the blockchain can be well applied to the implant tracing system, which makes the system traceability
function more complete. While ensuring the privacy of patient information, patients can quickly and accurately obtain all traceability
information including implant production information, logistics and usage information.
