Abstract:Objective To investigate the value of contrast-based linear modeling method of bronchial artery CTA in the preoperative
diagnosis of hemoptysis interventions. Methods In 80 patients with hemoptysis, CTA of bronchial arteries was performed based on
the contrast linear model method, and the CT values of target vessels were measured to assess the quality of angiography, while 52
patients were compared with DSA for bronchial artery detection compliance. Results The bronchial arteries in the target vessels had
CT values greater than 200 HU, higher than the surrounding organ parenchyma. 100 bronchial arteries were identified by CTA (3
of which were not detected by DSA), 106 bronchial arteries were detected by DSA (9 of which were not detected by CTA), and the
detection agreement was 91.5%. There was no statistical difference between CTA and DSA in the ability to detect normal and ectopic
bronchial arteries. Conclusion The bronchial artery CTA based on contrast linear model method in this study has good angiographic
quality and a high concordance between bronchial artery detection rate for preoperative evaluation of bronchial artery embolization in
patients with hemoptysis.
