Quality Control and Data Analysis of Multi-parameter Monitor Non-invasive Blood Pressure Based on FLUKE Prosim8

Abstract:Objective To explore the reason of multi-parameter monitor non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) unqualified and provide guidance of preventive maintenance for multi-parameter monitor NIBP. Methods According to the national metrological requirements of NIBP and the product specifications of multi-parameter monitor, FLUKE Prosim8 vital signs simulator was used to detect NIBP of 43 multi-parameter monitors in emergency department and anesthesiology department. Results The qualified rate of 43 multi-parameter monitors NIBP was 93.02%, the qualified rate of model A NIBP was 89.65%, and the qualified rate of model B and C NIBP was 100%. According to the statistical analysis of the data, the main cause of multi-parameter monitor NIBP unqualified is NIBP leakage. It is necessary to clean and check the pneumatic circuit of the multi-parameter monitor regularly. Conclusion Based on the quality control data obtained from the detecting, making regular preventive maintenance plan to reduce the equipment failure rate, ensure the normal operation of the equipment and provide reference for colleagues.
