Abstract:Objective To study the feasibility of determining the delay time of CT pulmonary angiography,(CTPA) and the consistency of images obtained from the results of low-dose bolus injection of left atrial density. Methods A prospective analysis of 100 patients with clinically suspected pulmonary embolism was performed using a small-dose bolus test. The peak time of pulmonary artery trunk was measured in the control group (T1, delay time=T1+5 s), while the left atrial peak plateau time (T2) was measured in the experimental group, and the delay time=T2 scan time. The CT values of the pulmonary artery segments, superior vena cava, left atrium, and delay time, and the image quality of the pulmonary artery segments were compared and analyzed between two groups. Results There was no statistically signi?cant difference in the CT value of each pulmonary artery segment, superior vena cava, and the total score of image quality between the two groups (P>0.05), but there was a signi?cant difference in the left atrial CT value and delay time between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion When CTPA performed with 256-slice CT, the results of left atrial density small-dose bolus test can accurately calculate the delay time, which meets the requirements of clinical diagnosis and is worthy of promotion.
