Abstract:Objective To compare the automatic bone removal degree and blood vessel display effect of dual-energy bone removal (DE) CT angiography (CTA) and neuro-digital subtraction angiography (DSA). Methods A total of 39 cases of second-generation dual-source CT dual-phase dual-energy neck angiography were performed in this retrospective analysis. DE-CTA and Neuro-DSA were used for automatic bone removal, aftermaximum density projection, and volume reorganization, with double-blind method, the degree of bone removal and vascular lumen display were scored, and the statistical differences between the two were compared. Results The bone removal score of DE-CTA was (3.74±0.44), which was higher than (2.54±0.85) of Neuro-DSA (P<0.05)| the integrity score of DE-CTA was (2.82±0.72), which was low than (3.38±0.85) of Neuro-DSA (P<0.05). Conclusion DE-CTA has low radiation dose and excellent bone removal ef?ciency, but when excessive bone removal causes vascular defects, Neuro-DSA can be used as a supplement.
