Abstract:Objective To explore the feasibility of applying online teaching to the undergraduate probationary teaching of imaging technology majors, and discuss its teaching effects and optimization plans based on the teaching practice during the new coronavirus epidemic. Methods Data of grade 2016 and grade 2017 of West China School of Medicine of Sichuan University were included for analysis. The grade 2016 adopted the traditional clinical probation and the grade 2017 adopted the online clinical probation. The in-class quiz scores and satisfaction survey results of the two groups were collected and the teaching effect was evaluated. T test was used to compare in-class quiz scores between the two groups, and the satisfaction was compared using Wilcoxon symbolic rank sum test (α=0.05). Results The average score of the traditional teaching group was (93.46±5.25), while that of the online teaching group was (94.39±4.37). The difference of in-class quiz scores between the two groups was not statistically signi?cant (P>0.05). The average total score of satisfaction of the traditional teaching group was 19.75, while that of the online teaching group was 21.46, the difference was statistically signi?cant (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with the traditional probation teaching mode, the online probation teaching is more diversi?ed in content and form, and not limited by the place. What’s more, it is easy for students to review, and has achieved better teaching effect. Online teaching mode has high application value in the undergraduate clinical probation teaching of imaging technology major.
