Abstract:Augmented reality (AR) technology has become a new way of auxiliary medical treatment because of its unique advantages such as virtual reality combination, real-time interaction and so on. The characteristics and key technologies of AR technology, as well as the status quo of its application in medicine, including the application of AR in medical education, clinical operation navigation, rehabilitation treatment and radiotherapy, were introduced in this study. Although the development of AR varies in various fields, with the continuous progress of science and technology, we believe that AR technology will be better combined with medicine to benefit mankind.
