Abstract:Chest CT examination is a very important method for early screening, classification, and evaluation of coronavirus disease
2019 (COVID-19). Currently, it has been included in the fifth edition of the COVID-19 diagnosis and treatment program. Early
COVID-19 patients have atypical imaging characteristics, and conventional CT axial scans often cannot clearly show the lesions.
Multi-planar reconstruction can display lesions from multiple planes in different directions. MPR displays the shape and multiple
signs of small lesions in the lung more comprehensively than ordinary axial CT, and can detect millimeter-level ground-glass lesions,
thus greatly improve the accuracy of diagnosis. MPR plays an important role in CT diagnosis of patients with early COVID-19.
