Abstract:Objective To realize the whole process, dynamic and process management of the transfer and handover of surgical patients
and ensure the safety of surgical patients, the management information of the transfer and handover of surgical patients is built based
on the information system. Methods Based on wired/wireless network, mobile PDA and computer equipment, the information flow
management of patients’ information, carrying goods, smooth pipeline and proper fixation was established in ward, operation room
and recovery room. Message push was used to connect with the anesthesia system, HIS and nursing management system to complete
the transfer and handover of different environments of patients’ surgery. The workload, working hours, number of surgical cases and
efficiency of operating room of each node data were queried and counted. Results After the operation of the transfer and handover
system, the transfer and handover process in the operating room was standardized. The incidence of adverse events decreased by
56%, and the daily use of each operating room increased by 38%. Conclusion The process management of information system in the
transfer and handover of patients can improve the management effect of operating room, and effectively promote the construction and
development of digital operating room.
