Abstract:The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a place with dense medical equipment, and the construction of the internet of medical
equipment has important value for improving the quality and safety of medical treatment. First, the value and technical difficulties of
the construction of ICU medical equipment internet of things (IoT) were analyzed. Then, based on the preliminary experiments, the
ICU medical equipment IoT construction plan, including three types of device interconnection methods based on private protocols,
OpenICE standard and Benelink module, and the data platform construction plan were discussed. In the last section, the future of IoT
for medical devices in ICU was also explored.
