Abstract:Objective To provide an economical and effective method for quality control measurement of portable pulmonary function
instrument, and to ensure the quality control of the measurement performance of portable pulmonary function instrument. Methods
Referring to the experimental measurement method of national metrological calibration standard, and according to its technical
requirements as the judgment basis of quality control measurement results, the invasive ventilator and standard respiratory simulator were
used for experimental analysis and comparison. Results The method could be applied scientifically and practically for the quality
control measurement of vital capacity, forced vital capacity, and maximum minute ventilation of portable pulmonary function
instrument through theoretical analysis, experiment and result verification. Conclusion In the absence of dedicated measuring equipment,
the portable pulmonary function instrument can be measured using appropriate invasive ventilator under the specific working mode.
The method has certain reference significance and practical value for the quality control of the portable pulmonary
function instrument.
