Abstract：Objective Aiming at the shortcomings of existing cervical dilatation rods, an inflatable automatic dilatation rod is
designed. Methods The inflatable automatic dilatation rod used TMS320F28335 as the main control chip, and controlled the gas
pressure inside the rod using adaptive control method. The pressure was sent to the controller after A/D conversion, and the controller
controlled the electric proportional valve to make the gas pressure in the rod meet the clinical requirements. Results An inflatable
automatic dilatation rod was successfully designed. Comparative experiments showed that the automatic dilatation rod eliminated the
pain the and risk of excessive bleeding caused by repeated insertion and removal of the traditional cervical dilatation rod. Compared
with traditional steel rod, automatic dilatation rod had obvious advantages. Conclusion The inflatable automatic dilatation rod
is convenient to operate, and can obviously relieve the pain caused by cervical dilatation, which has high clinical application value.
