We presented and designed an intelligent puncture system, which identified the targeted blood vessels based on ultrasound image
guidance, calculated the relevant parameters, and finally completed the puncture and catheterization operation by the manipulator.
Results Through experiments and statistics on human models, the application of the intelligent puncture system in this study had
greatly improved success rate of puncture, compared with traditional puncture methods. Conclusion PICC intelligent puncture system
based on ultrasound image processing is feasible, and can improve puncture efficiency and save emergency time.
