Abstract:Objective To explore the correlation between carotid plaque thickness and neovascularization of plaques in patients with
unstable angina. Methods A total of 102 plaques on 71 patients with carotid atherosclerosis were examined by contrast-enhanced
ultrasonography (CEUS). Results There was a positive correlation between carotid neovascularization of plaques and plaque thickness
(rs=0.537). Conclusion In patients with unstable angina, for carotid low-echo and hypoechoic mixed echo plaques in different thickness,
there is a positive correlation between the density of neovascularization and the thickness.
