Abstract:Objective Using kV CBCT and golden globe projection position automatic tracking algorithm, we aimed to calculate
the minimum recognition angle of the marker in the module. Methods The implanted markers were scanned by CBCT, and the
image group of the ball tube from 0° to 359.96° was obtained. Then, the golden globe projection position automatic tracking
algorithm was used to analyze and calculate any two images to determine the minimum angle interval of positing the 3D coordinate
accurately. Results The minimum angle interval for positing the 3D coordinate of marker in phantom using any two images was
4.16°. Conclusion This algorithm is feasible for CBCT scan image processing results, but it still needs to improve the software and
hardware level to obtain more accurate results.
