Abstract:This paper aimed to reduce the number of the monthly faults of the Backman automatic power processor equipment
in clinical laboratory by using of the management tools of quality control circle (QCC). After implemented all the QCC steps in
combination with survey and other methods, the QCC outcomes were achieved. Finally, the faults of the laboratory automatic
specimen processing system of our hospital in 2017 had been reduced from 14 per month to 8 per month. The use of QCC had
reduced the faults of the equipment and had improved its operation performance. The method can improve the efficiency of the staff
in the laboratory through the way of standardization and optimization.
