Renovation of Automatic Voice Playing System Controlled by Large X-Ray Machine Brake

Abstract:Objective The purpose of this study was to develop an automatic voice commands playing system, which could replace
the manual calling by automatically playing the voice commands in X-ray examination. Methods We assembled voice module, relay,
rocker switch and other accessories into a voice playing system which could achieve anode starting and linkage exposure with the X-ray
examination by controlling of the exposure handbrake in this article. The voice command which could be edited was synthesized by
software, and download into voice module by using of USB-TTL interface line. The system could automatically play by controlling
of the exposure handbrake, and was able to link to X-ray machine’s anode start and exposure circuit, achieve voice commands
automatically playing in X-ray examination. Results The system could automatically play the “breath-hold” and “breath” instruction
before and after examination by controlling of the exposure handbrake. So the system could avoid the operation technicians’
repeating manual calling workload. It was also easy for patients to match the commands which were clear and standard. Conclusion
The using of this voice playing system can achieve automatically playing of the voice commands in the exposure process which can
replace manual calling and reduce the workload and improve work efficiency. The system has no adverse effects on X-ray machine
and ensures the safe use of the equipment. This system mainly uses the voice module, relay which does not involve the programming,
the circuit design and other complex working procedure. So it is easy to install and promote.
