Objective To understand the demand of stereotactic radiotherapy equipment practitioners in various medical institutions
in different regions of China for equipment service system and extract the key technical indicators in the service system of the
equipment, so as to provide a reference for the establishment of the comprehensive evaluation system of stereotactic radiotherapy
equipment. Methods The Basic Information and Demand Questionnaire of Project Partners for Evaluation of Stereotactic
Radiotherapy Service System was developed by radiotherapy equipment clinical experts, technical experts, medical engineers and
statistics experts. And the employees of the evaluated medical institutions were targeted for investigation through the collection of
questionnaires. Results Among the 6 indicators of enterprise service level, the weight of spare parts resources was the highest. The
weight of the two indexes of installation, debugging and fault repair was higher than others in 17 indexes of product service, and
the weight of customer training index was higher than others in customer service. Among the four indicators of data collection, the
weight of satisfaction index was the highest. Conclusion The higher weight index in the demand survey covers the whole service
chain including pre-sale, in-sale and after-sale. In the process of service system evaluation, the indicators directly related to users’
needs are particularly important and should be paid attention in the establishment of the system.
