Abstract:CT is used to measure the absorption coefficient of X ray in the object, and the X ray of different energy levels can obtain
different X ray attenuation coefficients. These coefficients will be reconstructed into CT images, which we call spectral imaging. It
has the characteristics of fast scanning speed, multi-parameter and quantitative analysis. The single energy image, the specific energy
spectrum curve, the effective atomic number and the base material image as well as other imaging techniques of the spectral CT are
of great value in the identification of isolation of benign and malignant lung nodules, analysis of the pothologic type, evaluation of
lung cancer lymph node metastasis or not, and evaluation of clinical therapeutic effect. It can not only accurately direct that stage and
make further diagnosis plan for the clinical treatment, but also can improve the quality of life and the prognosis of the patient. The
application of spectral CT in the diagnosis of lung cancer was reviewed in this paper.
