Design and Research of Regional Image-assisted Diagnostic Platform Architecture Based on SOA

Abstract:Objective To realize image service integration and information sharing and provide technical support for regional imageassisted
diagnostic informatization application, a regional image-assisted diagnostic platform based on service oriented architecture
(SOA) was designed. Methods The integration and sharing of mass image resources was realized by this platform which taken the
medical imaging department of Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital as a business center and used SOA technology to achieve information
interchange and service access. Results This platform realized the reuse of medical image information between all levels of
medical institutions in the city and improved the efficiency of diagnosis and quality of service. Conclusion Regional image-assisted
diagnostic platform plays an important role in supporting the hierarchical medical system and precise diagnostic imaging technology
as an influential demonstration of inclusive digital medical care that helps 3A hospitals and community hospitals share their resources
of diagnosis and treatment with each other.
