Abstract：The biocompatibilities of a novel biomedical material high nitrogen nickel-free stainless steel (HNNFS) and coronary
stent materials L605 alloy and 316L stainless steel (316LSS) were studied. The results showed that the blood compatibility of all
three materials had excellent performance on resisting hemolysis. However, HNNFS was better than L605 alloy and 316LSS. Cells
proliferation and adhesion results presented that HNS inhibited the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells effectively compared
with L605 alloy and 316LSS, targeting to reduce restenosis of stent after implantation.
