Abstract：Objective In order to apply to various hospital medical image acquisition workstations, a set of universal medical image
acquisition system was designed. Methods The system which could realize the same routine operating procedures and add the
online function was designed by using SQL Server to create the system background database, and Visual Basic.NET (abbreviated as
VB.NET) was used to design the system foreground software. Results This system could improve the utilization efficiency of the
medical image acquisition workstations for the medical staff, and realize the standardization and information sharing of the various
image-text report formats. Conclusion The standardization of medical image-text informations is the basis for connecting to the
PACS, which is the next step of the development of this system.
