Abstract:As magnetic resonance imaging equipment is developed from low field to high field and ultra high field, the risk of
thermal injury of the receiver is gradually increased. The specific absorption rate is widely concerned by researchers as a measure
of the biothermal effect of the magnetic resonance radio-frequency field. The research progress of numerical calculation method
of electromagnetic field and the simulation experiment of specific absorption rate of magnetic resonance imaging equipment were
described in this paper, and then the specific absorption rate metrological requirements was analyzed.
