Profile and Failure Analysis of 11C-Multifunction Positron Radiopharmaceuticals Synthesis Module

Abstract:This paper aims to introduce the domestic 11C multifunctional positron radio-pharmaceuticals synthesis module briefly
and analyze the instrument failures. The synthesis module could be divided into 5 parts, and failures described in this paper mainly
included failures of carbon multifunction module’s air tightness, common failures of 11C-CH3I synthesis module, 11C-Triflate-CH3
online conversion module, precursor response module and product crude extraction module. In addition, this paper summarized
common problem and solution of drug synthesis module. As for preventive maintenance of this device, pipeline connection can be
changed according to demand, and radioactive probe should be installed for all modules in order to understand real-time radioactive
distribution.
