Optimization of Airway Structure

Abstract:According of the distortion of airflow data for sleep breathing detector, we designed a portable sleep breathing monitor and
analyzed the optimal range of detected position by experiment. Firstly, the optimization calculating model of air pressure flow was
established and system design was carried out by modular structure method. The core hardware detected breath signals with pressure
sensor and MCU and the software portion was based on Keil μ Vision to achieve data storage and display. In addition, based on finite
element numerical simulation method, the experimental research of airway was conducted to analyze the influence of four different distance
tested position. The results showed that the post position was less affected by airflow pressure drop and its steady state recovery was
faster. The system has optimum effect on respiratory signal detection and can provide a better prospect for the design of airway structure.
