Abstract:In order to solve the medical diagnostic digital subtraction angiography (DSA) system performance test and prevent
the test personnel operation from affecting by X ray irradiation, the present study developed a set of improved DSA phantom for
measuring the performance of the body. Phantom was designed by using organic glass materials processing. Module of mobile radio
remote control method was adopted. Phantom of the performance test was conducted on normal DSA system. Plug-ins of organic
glass artery simulation module plug-in, skeleton module, contrast linear module and low contrast resolution module were designed.
The movement of the modules was controled by remote control device drivers. The experimental results showed that 2 mm diameter
of simulated artery blood vessels without loading the skeleton module could be seen, and a hemangioma or embolization simulation
of 1/2 blood vessels in the simulated vessel with 2 mm diameter could be distinguished without loading the skeleton module. After
loading skeleton module, an iodine concentration of 150 mg/cm3 and a diameter 2 mm simulated artery could be distinguished. The
remote control remote control distance was away from 50 m, and the movement speed was 28 mm/s. Conclusion Phantom device is
completely in conformity with the requirements of national rules JJG 1067-2011 Medical Diagnosis Digital Subtraction Angiography
(DSA) System X Ray Radiation Source. Application of wireless remote control mobile module can completely avoid the X ray
irradiation when operating it.
