Abstract:Objective Through researching the suppliers’ after-sale service during the process of reevaluation
system of newly-purchased medical equipment supplier in the fi rst year and exploring the
method of medical equipment management, to ensure the safety and effectiveness of medical equipment
being used in clinical. Methods A total of 460 copies of the one year period survey and evaluation
forms of the newly-purchased medical equipment during supplier re-evaluation from 2012 to 2016 was
collected, and the after-sale service contents were selected to analysis and summary. Results There were
a number of problem evaluations, such as training effect in general, no maintenance in accordance with
the contract, equipment repaired records and service response was not timely during the year 2012 to
2014. The full rate of the evaluation of the content is increasing year by year during the whole evaluating
process, even this number reached 100% in 2016. Conclusion The measure re-evaluation system of
newly-purchased medical equipment supplier improved the supplier’s after-sale service level effectively.
The improvement of the supplier after-sale service, reduced the early failure rate of the newly-purchased
medical equipment after start being used and ensured the quality and safety of medical equipment in
clinical application.
