Abstract:Objective This paper aims to explore the relationship between axillary lymph node
metastasis and ultrasonography (US) and contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS), and investigates
the application value of them. Methods The US and CEUS of 141 patients with breast cancer and
lymphatic metastasis were retrospectively analyzed. Single factor analysis and multi-factor logistic
analysis were respectively used to investigate the correlation with above factors and axillary lymph
node metastasis. Results Single factor analysis showed the clinical data including perfusion imaging
sequence, tumor grade, lymph node acoustic halo, enhanced peripheral of lymph node, enhanced pattern,
diameter enlarged, cortical thickness, aspect ratio, and relative difference of the area under curve (AUC)
in primary foci (P<0.05). Multi-factor analysis showed that enhanced pattern, after contrast, diameter
enlarged of lymph node were risk factors for breast cancer with axillary lymph node metastasis (P<0.05).
Conclusion Therefore, it is inferred that CEUS characteristic of axillary lymph node metastasis has an
important guiding role in the identification of axillary lymph node metastasis of breast cancer clinically.
