Abstract:Objective To develop an integrated management system (OIS) in department of radiotherapy to optimize treatment flow and quantify the information in the course of radiotherapy, and realize information and intelligence of radiotherapy. Methods A server-terminal mode information platform was set up and the workstations of OIS were added. The system was integrated with HIS and TPS to realize all the operations online, such as information collection, recording fees, messaging and other operations in department of radiotherapy. Results The radiotherapy flow was optimized, and the problems due to miscommunication between multiple radiotherapy networks and scattered Information were solved. The system facilitated the radiologist and doctor to be aware of the patients’ condition real-timely. Conclusion The integrated management system in department of radiotherapy promoted the information management level of the department, which laid a foundation for homogeneous radiation by using the advantage of big data technology.
