Abstract：This paper explained the realization of the medical equipment life cycle repair management
system developed autonomously by our hospital. The front-end application program of the system
is developed by the PowerBuilder9.0, whereas the background database was developed by the SQL
Server 2008. The application of the medical equipment life cycle repair management system realizes
the management of the whole life cycle including equipment procurement, administration, repair and
maintenance, and disposal. The system also provides data support for the scientific management of
medical equipment and helps improve the work efficiency in the department of equipment maintenance.
