Application and Evaluation of Domestically-Manufactured Rigid Endoscopes in Primary Hospitals

Abstract:The rapid development and widespread application of the minimally invasive surgery has contributed to the fast growth of the rigid endoscope market. In recent years the market share of the domestically-manufactured rigid endoscopes and the corresponding ancillary equipment has been increasing steadily. Moreover, the overseas market has also been opened up successfully. However, the domestic brands of rigid endoscopes have not yet been accepted widely in clinical practice. This paper conducts a survey to compare the optical properties between the domestic and imported rigid endoscope (laparoscopic) in Lishui city. Through analyzing the modern endoscope system and industrial characteristics, this paper explores the shortcomings of domestic brands and corresponding improvement measures.
