Abstract:Objective To Research the quality control testing methods for automatic external defibrillation and pacing functions
of cardiac defibrillators, improve the daily operation and maintenance management of cardiac defibrillators, and ensure clinical
emergency response capabilities. Methods Based on the principle of automatic external defibrillation and pacing of cardiac
defibrillators, combined with the functional conditions of various simulators and quality control detection tools, quality control
testing was developed from six dimensions, including “electric shock rhythm recognition, automatic external discharge time,
energy release” of automatic external defibrillation function, and “pacing pulse current, pacing pulse width, and pacing pulse
rate” of pacing function. Results A quality control table for automatic external defibrillation and pacing functions was developed,
alternative methods for disposable electrode pads were studied and clarified. At the same time, through the actual measurement of
23 cardiac defibrillators in Panyu District, the accuracy rate of electric shock rhythm recognition dection was 100%. The automatic
external defibrillation discharge time, automatic defibrillation release energy (maximum deviation), pacing pulse current (maximum
deviation), and the pacing pulse width (maximum deviation) all met the requirements of the regulations (P<0.05) based on the quality
control testing results. Conclusion The quality control testing method for automatic external defibrillation and pacing function of
cardiac defibrillators developed by our hospital can effectively detect the accuracy of automatic external defibrillation and pacing
function, ensure the normal function of cardiac defibrillators and medical safety.
