Abstract:Coronary CT angiography (CCTA) has become an important non-invasive method for the evaluation of coronary artery
disease. With the wide application of CCTA in clinical practice, its high radiation carcinogenic risk and adverse reactions of contrast
medium have attracted more and more attention. Double-low scanning (low radiation dose and low contrast medium dosage) is a
research hotspot of CT angiography at present, which reduces radiation dose and iodine contrast medium dosage on the premise of
ensuring diagnostic efficiency. Especially with the rapid development of computer technology, iterative reconstruction algorithm
provides more powerful power for double-low scanning, and its application prospect is more extensive. This paper reviewed the
history and clinical application of CCTA, and the application and research progress of double-low scanning in CCTA, in order to
provide reference for the clinical diagnosis of coronary artery disease in the future.
