Abstract:Objective To design a remote monitoring system for body temperature stickers and finger clip oximeters based on Internet
of Things technology, and achieve remote monitoring of respiratory infectious diseases. Methods The narrow band Internet of
Things platform was selected as the intermediate node, and the data measured by the body temperature stickers and oximeter terminal
equipment were sent to the Alibaba Cloud server through the 4G network. Users viewed the data in real-time at any location through
the web console to achieve remote monitoring. It also realized automatic uploading of monitoring data and active early warning
of abnormal indicators. Results After the application of the system, the real-time data, satisfaction with medical and nursing
energy consumption, improvement in medical and nursing work efficiency, and controllability of cross infection were significantly
improved compared with before the use of the system, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The sensors met the
low power consumption requirements of wearable monitors. The data monitoring error met the standard requirements. Conclusion
The system has obvious practical clinical application effect, effectively reduces the labor intensity and workload of medical workers
wearing protective equipment to provide medical services, and provides real-time monitoring for remote clinical diagnosis.
