Temperature Performance Evaluation of Infant Incubator Based on Real World Data

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the temperature performance of infant incubator based on real world data, so as to provide basis
for clinical use and hospital procurement and selection. Methods The module which could collect the operating parameters of
infant incubator and realize automatic data acquisition was designed. According to the temperature characteristics, the expected
value was introduced, the evaluation model was established, and indexes were used to realize the accurate evaluation of temperature
performance. Results A total of 188 test data of three brands were selected, and the evaluation model was used to evaluate the
temperature performance of infant incubators of different brands, so as to realize the horizontal comparison between different
brands and the performance evaluation during acceptance. The results showed that brand B was better than brand A and brand C
in temperature accuracy parameters, while brand C was better than brand A and brand B in temperature uniformity parameters.
Conclusion The designed system and evaluation model can enlarge the difference of temperature performance and accurately
evaluate the performance of infant incubator.
