Abstract：Large medical equipment is a kind of medical facilities with high technology and high operation and configuration costs.
Its purchase is directly related to the future trend of hospital medical treatment, education and scientific research and development.
Its rational configuration is of great significance for protecting people’s health rights and interests, effectively controlling medical
expenses and ensuring medical service level. In recent years, with the continuous medical reform in China, a lot of positive
measures have been taken in the supervision and management of large-scale medical equipment. Although there have been some
achievements, there is still a great deal of room for improvement. This paper focused on the configuration policy and management
status of large medical equipment at home and abroad, summarized the existing problems in the configuration management of large
medical equipment in China, and put forward relevant suggestions on this basis to provide a certain theoretical basis for the scientific
management of the configuration of large medical equipment in China.
