Abstract:As a new medical robot, medical ultrasonic robot can help doctors obtain high-quality ultrasound images and reduce
doctors’ work pressure. With their high precision, flexibility, safety and repeatability, collaborative robots are very suitable for
combination with the field of medical imaging. At present, the number and overall level of ultrasound doctors can not well meet the
medical needs. The emergence of medical ultrasonic robot will solve the problem of shortage of medical resources to a certain extent.
Robot ultrasound technology is gradually becoming an important means to improve the medical level. This paper introduced the
main application directions of ultrasonic robot in the medical field, including the advantages of ultrasonic robots and the application
of ultrasonic robot in surgery, radiotherapy and telediagnosis. Although the development of this field is relatively late, with the
continuous progress of robotics and communication technology, medical ultrasonic robot will have great development potential and
broad application space.
