Abstract:Objective To investigate the after-sales service mode and after-sales service centralized procurement intention of large
medical equipment, and to provide basic research for the selection of after-sales service mode and the development of after-sales
service centralized procurement by medical and health institutions. Methods Questionnaire was used to investigate the after-sales
service types, main considerations and centralized procurement intention of after-sales service in 192 medical and health units and 8
CT manufacturers in China. Results About 65.10% of large medical equipment mainly used full insurance services, some equipment
purchased limited insurance and maintenance services, and the other types of services were relatively few. The main factors to be
considered including equipment fault rate, equipment importance, accessories consumption and after-sales expenses. About 72.40% of
medical and health units believed that centralized procurement at the regional level could be carried out according to the actual needs
of after-sales service. Conclusion The best after-sales service mode can be selected according to the comparison and calculation of
the equipment in use. The centralized procurement of after-sales service can be carried out after improving the rules and systems, so
as to meet the after-sales service needs of medical and health institutions for large medical equipment.
