Abstract:Objective To provide a reasonable solution to the problem that the oxygen concentration of portable PSA oxygen
generation equipment decreased with the increase of altitude. Methods Two oxygen generation schemes for adjusting the intake
volume and adjusting the adsorption time were proposed, and the two schemes were tested in a simulated low-pressure oxygen
chamber in a plateau environment. Results Before the product’s gas-oxygen concentration reached the highest value, the oxygen
generation scheme that adjusted the intake volume could increase the product’s gas-oxygen concentration by more than 11%, and the
oxygen generation scheme that adjusted the adsorption time could increase the product’s gas-oxygen concentration by more than 4%.
The simultaneous use of the two schemes at an altitude of 5000 m could increase the product’s gas-oxygen concentration by more
than 19%. Conclusion The plateau adaptive oxygen generation scheme in this study helps to improve the plateau adaptability of
portable PSA oxygen generation equipment.
