Abstract:This paper expounded the research and development of a non-contact sleep apnea alarming device, which consisted of three modules (the signal detecting module, control and alarming module and power module) and was intended for non-contact detection of sleep apnea under the conditions of low physical and mental workloads. Firstly, the device made use of bio-radar for non-contact collection of the respiratory signals from human subjects. And then, the signals were amplified and filtered repeatedly by hardware circuits. Finally ,the amplified signals were processed by the microprocessor to realize the non-contact detection of sleep apnea and to give alarms according to the processing results.
