Development and Application of a Wireless Temperature and Humidity Monitoring Network System for Infant Incubators

Abstract:A wireless temperature and humidity monitoring network system was developed by the hospital based on the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology in the field of IoT (Internet of Things), which was intended for monitoring temperature and humidity of the infant incubator and real-timely transferring the relevant data to the mainframe computer for storage and analysis. Audible and visual warnings would be activated in multiple approaches in case of malfunctioned infant incubators. As a consequence, application of the system has enhanced the security and efficiency of medical services for infants and lowered the occurrence of medical adverse events.
