Abstract：Objective To design an isolation sickbed for the treatment of infectious patients in the field. Methods The push-pull and collapsible isolation hood was installed on the sickbed. The temperature, humidity and oxygen concentration of gas inside the isolation hood can be monitored and controlled with temperature and humidity control device, and oxygen concentration control device, respectively. The sterilization for exhaust gas inside the isolation hood can be conducted with sterilization device. The qualified case of sterilized exhaust gas can be detected periodically with sampling and detection device. Results The temperature, humidity and oxygen concentration of gas inside the isolation hood can be controlled within the set range. When the values of the above parameters go beyond the alarm limit, the sickbed will alarm to remind medical staff to eliminate the potential safety hazard in time. Conclusion The convenient and practical isolation sickbed can meet the clinical requirements of field operations.
