Abstract:Objective To improve the safe operation rate of ventilators and ensure medical quality by carrying out quality control and testing of ventilators. Methods By manual inspection and use of air ?ow analyzer, a total of eight dimensions of ventilator were examined, including the instrument appearance, start-up inspection, tidal volume, forced ventilation frequency, inhalation oxygen concentration, inhalation pressure level, positive end-expiratory pressure, and safety alarm function. The test results were recorded, the qualified rate was counted, the reasons for non-conformity were analyzed, and the solutions were worked out. Results By continuously improving the quality control and testing of ventilators, analyzing the testing situation and seeking measures to improve the quality control of ventilators, the qualified rate of quantitative ventilators in hospitals was raised to 79% (52/66). Conclusion Combined with the quality control, inspection and maintenance of ventilator, it can scientifically and effectively manage the safe operation rate of ventilator. It also plays an important role in establishing the concept of life cycle systematic medical equipment management for medical engineers and technicians, and improving the support ability of medical equipment.
