Abstract:With the development of invasive medical devices. Nitinol alloy has been widely used in clinical fields as a good
biomaterial. The properties of nickel-titanium shape memory alloys were introduced briefly in this paper, such as shape memory
effect, superelasticity, corrosion resistance and wear resistance. The application of nickel-titanium shape memory alloy in vascular
stents, occlusion devices, vena cava filters, cardiac interventional valves, and stents in the lumens was highlighted. Future research
direction was prospected to improve the long-term safety of nickel-titanium alloy
