Abstract:Objective To study the effective method for detecting multiple human targets under the shadowing condition. Methods
A wavelet entropy recognition algorithm was proposed. The distribution complexity of energy at different scales after wavelet
decomposition was analyzed, so that human targets and clutter in the radar detection region could be distinguished. Results The
measured data showed that the traditional method as adaptive spectral line enhancement and energy accumulation could only detect
the target who was near to radar antenna, and the wavelet entropy could not only detect the target next to radar but also identify the
target who was far from radar antenna. Conclusion The wavelet entropy algorithm can effectively improve the recognition accuracy
of multiple human targets.
