Abstract:In order to meet the requirements of the national health reform policy, a design of smart storage and allocation management
system was discussed by means of intelligent equipment and informatization to achieve fine management of medical supplies and
reduce hospitals’operating costs. The system, which was composed of central warehouse-smart sorting subsystem, inpatient ward
warehouse-smart weight sensitive counting subsystem and operation center-smart management of storage and distribution subsystem,
was successfully connected with materials management system in HIS, so as to realize the closed-loop management of medical
consumable life cycle. In addition, combined with the secondary library management module in HIS system, the actual charge
and consumption of the consumable materials and the monitoring of the real-time inventory and consumption of the non-priced
consumables could be realized in this system. The use of smart storage and allocation management system for fine management
of medical supplies greatly improves the logistics efficiency, reduces the wasting of medical supplies and enables the full-process
traceable management of medical supplies.
