Research on the Application of Multi-Dimensional Directional Support for
Domestic Innovative Medical Devices in Shanghai Public Hospitals

Abstract:Objective To change the current situation of domestic equipment vacancy in high-end medical equipment market, we
explore the application promotion model of innovative medical devices, and actively promote the demonstration application of
domestic innovative medical devices. Methods Through the understanding of the status quo and the interpretation of the national
policy, the strategy and implementation plan of the public hospitals in Shanghai were formulated to support the application and
promotion of innovative medical equipment. Results Public hospitals in Shanghai were regarded as the first demonstration
application. The share of domestic equipment was constantly improved by supporting the implementation of policies to promote,
and took measures to support innovation and multidimensional orientation of medical products. Conclusion We explore a set of
innovative medical devices application demonstration and promotion mode with multidimensional directional support, to further
improve the government, production, learning and research, and collaborative innovation system, and promote the innovation and
development of medical devices. This mode will break the situation that high-end medical equipment market has been imported
manufacturers monopoly.
