Abstract:Objective The intelligent evaluation and automatic early warning system was established, in order to improve the ability
of hospital infection control, realize the improvement of medical quality, and reduce the hospital infection. Methods Based on
clinical data center which using the enterprise service bus technology, the data from several system was integrated including HIS,
LIS, EMR, NIMS, IMIS, AIMS and so on. Then we chose infection warning parameters through statistical method, and assigned
weight coefficient to every parameters. Finally, the early-warning model was constructed for prediction hospital infection risk.
Results This system could predict the development trend of patients with infection. Warning result could be published through the
website home page, and the system could also send a short message to the responsible physician. Conclusion The system can assist
the quality control department for medical decision-making to adopt more scientific and rational prevention and control measures. It
also can reduce the possibility of a large area of infection and medical accidents in hospital, which can improve the medical quality
and safety.
