Abstract:On the basis of the medical device classification and coding of Food and Drug Administration,
three-level 8-bit classification and coding method was adopted in this paper to realize classification and
coding of a total of more than 6000 sets of medical equipment. Through comparison of query statistics
results of pre- and post- classification and coding, it was found that medical device classification and
coding significantly improved the precision and recall rate of medical equipment data, further increased
the benefit of medical equipment management, and promoted the hospital’s medical equipment
information management level.
